Where the Adults are in charge…

So last night in WoW I was confronted with the ambiguous directions of “Go find X in Y” for a quest which is kind of like “Go find Bob in Colorado”. So, off to the forums for an idea as to where to find X and what I found was just levels of silly.

I tried two, one being the WoW version of the one I use for EQII. On the EQII forums there are lots of helpful hints, lots of usefulness on the quest hints by people in the same situation trying to help out fellow players get unstuck.

On the WoW Forums? Not so much, it was like wading into Junior High again with people insulting each other and calling each other idiots. My Fave being a misspelled insult questioning the education level of another misspelled post of another poster.

After wading through the insults (a good 60 or so) I found two helpful posts on how to find X .

So, WoW:

8 million accounts equals.

4 million Farmers/bots.

3 million 14 year olds.

1 million actual players.

On the plus side I am way ahead of CoX and EQII combined on ignored on WoW, so go me. ;P

Yeppers, Thottbot.com is the one that I eventually used (as suggested by Random at the time).

I just found it amusing that the same site for two games could be that wildly different.

Hmm...Need to add it to the side bar I think.

That is where I go for my WoW info.

Wow, he is alive!

Woohoo!

Hythian?

The name sounds familiar.

Didn't he used to be Peter Frampton?
