FedEx.
Signature required package.
For two days I have called them and told them to hold the package at the Warehouse so that I can pick it up and sign for it there after work. This is of course after dealing with their new annoying version of Voice Mail that that is voice activated, but does not recognize my accent.
So for two days it does not get held at the Warehouse, even thou it has been logged twice to Hold it at the Warehouse.
Now, I have to have the package reshipped....and held at the Warehouse. Which seems to be the weak point in this whole process, the FedEx folks actually reading instructions phase of the operation.
I wonder if I can get the shipper to use UPS next time...

Is it Fed Ex of UPS that made all the drivers contractors?
In our drama with getting a must sign for package, the best part was where the driver said we weren't home when he tried to deliver the package and I was home waiting for it. He was so certain that no one would be home that he didn't even try. (Granted the box of wine is heavy but...) The highest level of support at the mother ship could only put a note in the file. If you mention certain key words they can bump you to irate customer and have the local warehouse people call you.

Yeah, I may need to have those "Keywords". Good news is it is coming back out on UPS, so I can just go and pick it up at the warehouse on the way home.
The funny thing was that when I called the second and third times the fisrt thing they said was "Oh, yeah it's right there in the file that they were supposed to hold it at the warehouse, I don't know why they loaded it on the truck again..."
So, Wine some time this week. :)
