Boulder Dude

It was my great pleasure to see George Carlin 4 times over the past 22 years, once in Ft. Collins, and three times down Town. He always managed to make me both laugh and think for the hour that he was on stage. My favourite bit of his was always the American Language Virus/PC/Double Speak problem that this country has been busily working at for most of my Adult life. Basically it segued from the Seven Words and went from there, the first time I remember it was when he did a riff of how Shell Shock (Two words, perfectly descriptive) became Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (Four Words and complete bullshit descriptive wise).

Religion, politics and the general stupidity of the U.S where grist for his mill and he would point out all of this for us about once a year with a new show, and we kept giving him new material for the next show.

He will be missed since he really is the only real comedian that has been constantly funny, relevant and working for the past 4 decades.
