Dear morons in the Press, allow me to buy you a clue

I do so thank you for parroting Roger Ailes’, DrudgeCo's and the RNC talking points of a “Temple” at Invesco tonight. Well done, now you can turn off the Fax machine for a few hours to let it cool down.
I would like to take this chance to point out a few things to you since you seem to have either missed them, or you seem to have purposely ignored them.
First off, most civic buildings in this country tend to be some form of Greek Revival styled architecture….like our State Capital, and Denver’s City and County Building. I know that you probably did have the time to see these things, being that they were where most of the protestors hung out, but there you go.
So, perhaps some buildings closer to where to spend most of your time at.
Places like the Capital building, or the White House. Wow, look at all those columns, they look just like Temples. Or, perhaps some places in D.C. that you are less familiar with like the Jefferson Memorial, you remember Jefferson don’t you, he has a little memorial and was the co-founder of the Democratic Party.
Or perhaps it has escaped you that today is the 45th anniversary of a little known and often forgotten speech given by a man of little note, at a building that looks like this....look at all those columns. It is a memorial to a mostly forgotten President who hailed from Illinois as well. Not that there would be any connections or significance to any of these above mentioned items, nope none at all.
And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride, From every mountainside, let freedom ring! And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.
But not only that:
Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!
So, tonight Freedom will ring from the Snow-capped Rockies of Colorado....free at last, free at last, thank god almighty, free at last.
